All About You
Three positive adjectives to describe yourself: lovable [sic], dreamer, well-natured
Three negative adjectives to describe yourself: shallow, bitter, fatalist
Strengths: I can’t tell a lie. I’m very peaceful; in fact, you’ll never see me getting mad at anyone. And don’t hold grudges.
Weaknesses: I seldom let people near me and tend to run from friendships and relationships. I’m not that I’m unfriendly; I just try to keep social interaction with people at a minimum level. I’m also incredibly picky and critic and tend to hurt people who trust me because of that. </emo>
Favorite Modern Band(s): Musically, my brain died back in 74. So one. There are a few good bands I like who play some timeless music around these days though. tl;dr: Earth, Agalloch.
Any other favorites (books, movies, television, people, art(ists), poetry, etc):
Writers: Yeats, Rimbaud, Kerouac, Ginsberg, Steinbeck, Espanca, Orwell, Huxley, Pessoa, Junqueiro, Kafka, Bierce.
Movies: Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket, London Kills Me, Easy Rider. I also have a soft spot for Ingmar Bergman.
Musical styles: Psychedelic folk, bebop, jazz fusion, blues, electric blues, progessive/folk/melodic black metal & that good old rock and roll.
Artists: ♥REMBRANDT♥ Frida Kahlo, Degas, Lautrec, Mucha, so many others jknvjdsnkid♥♥
Aaaand I don’t watch TV.
Talents and/or Hobbies: Drawing is the only thing I live for.
What song or quote can you best identify with?:
'Not to care for philosophy is to be a true philosopher.' (Blaise Pascal)
'I have an important message to deliver to all the cute people all over the world. If you're out there and you're cute, maybe you're beautiful. I just want to tell you somethin' — there's more of us UGLY MOTHERFUCKERS than you are, hey-y, so watch out.' (Frank Zappa)
As for songs; 'As You Said' & 'Deserted Cities of the Heart' by Cream / Velvet Underground's 'Sunday Morning'.
Do you care if you are voted as a band or solo artist?: Well, I guess it’s up to you to figure that out, isn’t it? What fits me best.
Taken at least 100 years ago, but still.
